This class will teach you how to manage elevator rescues. It is a deep, technical dive into the anatomy and physiology of elevators, providing the basic knowledge you’ll need to be confident when responding to elevator entrapments. It provides a simple-to-complex, step-by-step process for rescuing people from any type of elevator, and helps you build a skill set for every incident, even those that pose time-sensitive emergencies. It includes video lectures, demonstrations, and valuable resource guides you can download and use on your next elevator response.
The class is also part of a larger training program. It lays the foundation for SRT’s in-person, hands-on training in elevator entrapments. Once you’ve taken the class, sign up for the in-person component to hone your skills. (Link to sign up for in-person training)
